Manish Vyas was born in Gujarat, India and since his childhood, he was related to music, having learnt singing, tabla, harmonium and santoor along his life in India with different maestros at different stages. Manish is extremely versatile and makes different types of Indian music,. He was touring many years in the west in US and Europe and currently  lives in St. Gallen from where he gives concerts and conducts workshops and retreats about Indian music and its mythology, yoga and the power of sound . Manish composed and launched about 15 albums... the latest one coming out this summer: Mangalam, "Auspicious" a collection of devotional uplifting music.

How it started...

Manish and his band were invited to play at Sir Paul Mcartney's wedding some years ago. It was a total success, and since that time, he got invited to perform in different weddings. Also, after his own wedding in India, where he made sure the music was really great, many people from the west started to inquiry wanting to hire him for different celebrations. One couple from Germany who hired him after attending one of his concerts, said:  "Not only we loved his music and how he sings, but we saw the effect that his music had on the ambience of the venue... and it was really amazing... a mix of joy, positive vibes, children and old people joining the dance... it was like magic. Also their beautiful attire and eastern instruments give a wonderful feel in the wedding."

his music has a certain quality and elegance that distinguishes his work.  The size of the band and the number of performers included is related to the budget for the music.

Music is known as the universal language of the heart and wedding is one of the most touching moments of life. It brings along mixed feelings of pleasure and pain that it becomes difficult to express. At this point of time, music comes to rescue. The family members of both the bride and groom utilize this tool to express their feelings and celebrate the occasion. In India, the wedding music is basically a mixed bag as it contains traditional, folk and contemporary themes.  It is the perfect choice to set a joyful, celebrating mood, with a touch of originality.

The most beautiful things are associated memories and moments. If you don't celebrate those, they can pass you by.

"Together we will live with respect for one another.
Together we will develop mental, physical and spiritual balance.
Together we will prosper, acquire wealth and share our accomplishments.
Together we will acquire happiness, harmony and knowledge through mutual love.
Together we will raise strong, virtuous children.
Together we will be faithful to one another and exercise self-restraint and longevity.
Together we will remain lifelong partners and achieve salvation."
